Returns, shipping & exchanges

We do our best to fulfill and ship orders out within 7-10 business days, sometimes sooner. Please note that turnaround time may be longer during holidays and can also depend on the current production schedule. This production time is not included in the shipping or delivery time estimate. All products are shipped from Valrico, Florida. Our products are made to order unless otherwise specified. Rush orders are available for an additional $25 fee.

Upon completion of an order, the package will be shipped within 1-3 business days. On occasion, if we see that more than one order has been placed by an individual, we may go ahead and combine those orders into one package to try and reduce the overall shipping costs. When orders are combined, it usually results in one of them being expedited, so we hope you will see this as a benefit to you.
The transit time for each order depends on the shipping method chosen at the checkout. Not all tracking events may be represented in real-time, and this causes a shipment to appear stalled at a particular place/event. There are also other factors beyond our control that may extend the delivery window, including but not limited to:
• Packages being handled by multiple carriers, when handed off to local carriers
• Local customs department processing time
For these reasons, we are unable to guarantee a delivery date with certainty.

We do not accept returns or exchanges and all sales are final. However, if there is an issue with your order, please reach out to us directly via email at so we may further assist you. Please allow up to 2 business days for a response.

Yes, local pick up is available in Valrico, FL. Please select the local pick-up option at checkout. You will receive an order completion email with instructions for your pickup. We offer a grace period of 7 days from the date of this email to retrieve your items. Please keep an eye on your junk folder. If your order is not picked up within 1-week future orders may be refused. On the 8th day, you will receive an invoice from us with shipping cost. This will need to be paid within 24 hours of the invoice date. After the 10th day if we have not heard from you and the shipping invoice is not paid then your order will be cancelled and disposed of without eligibility for refund.

We do not accept cancellations. However, under special circumstances a cancellation request may be emailed to with your order number, full name, address, and a reason for cancellation. We will notify you via email if a cancellation request has been approved or denied. If a request is approved, a refund for the order amount, minus a 15% cancellation fee will be issued back to the original payment method within 48 business hours. Shipping cost will not be refunded. Please allow up to 2 business days for a response.
Please Note: If your order has already been processed or shipped by the time a cancellation request is made, it will not be approved.
Refund times are subject to the terms outlined by the payment processor and are out of our control. If a refund has not been received within 14 business days, please contact your financial institution to investigate. If it appears that an error has been made on our end regarding your refund, please email us at

Please inspect orders promptly once they arrive. If we made any errors, please notify us within 7 days of the delivery date. By human nature, we do make mistakes, and we are happy to get those corrected in a timely manner.

We do not send any finished engraved and/or cut proofs. The only proof that will be sent is for custom orders that we deem necessary. This is to ensure the design requested is correct according to individual orders.


Because our boards are made of all natural woods, the engraving will vary depending on the specific grains of that board. Each board will be unique and one of a kind.

No, please only hand wash boards with warm water and a sponge using soap. Hand dry with a dish towel. Refrain from leaving the board soaking in a sink or dish pan.

To keep items in stock we may order the same items from various manufacturers, which may cause a slight and unavoidable difference in appearance. Colors can vary slightly from one batch to the next, or between different manufacturers, and Misbehaving Engraving cannot be held responsible for these color variations.
